Post-secondary education in Nigeria, many brilliant students opt for engineering as their preferred course of study due to them having dreams of becoming great Engineers like those they have read about or seen. Unfortunately, these dreams have not come to fruition for many Nigeria Engineers.
Starting and Sustaining an Engineering Business (SSEB) is a Webinar that seeks to help Engineers start businesses around their engineering interest.

Business is good, but it is even much better when you are doing business around your passion. So many Engineers have dreamt of starting a business, but they have been discouraged because they don’t know how to go about it.
In this Webinar, the speakers will speak on how to start an engineering business and share practical steps from how they have built their own engineering business.

Chibunna Ogbonna is a visionary leader and entrepreneur. He Co-founded Kiru Energy Limited, a clean-tech company on a mission to power a prosperous and self-sustaining Africa by making clean energy accessible, affordable and functional for households and businesses.
Chibunna Ogbonna holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and is a certified Energy Transformation Expert by the Renewables Academy, Berlin.

Chibunna is has been a part of numerous intitiatives to promote clean energy in africa. such as the the Lighting Up Nigeria Initiative (LUNI), Sustainable Energy Days (SED), an annual event for the adoption of sustainable energy technologies in Africa.
Dozie Igweilo
Energy Innovator
Dozie Igweilo is an innovator, passionate about solar energy, electronics and circular economy He is the founder and CEO of QuadLoop- a Lagos-based electronics manufacturing start-up company, turning e-waste into solar-powered lanterns. The solar-powered lanterns are used by small businesses to stay productive if there are power outages.

QuadLoop flagship product is IDunnu portable lantern made from 70% e-waste material has been recognized both local and international media. QuadLoop also offers hardware devices, solar-powered lamps, and gas monitoring systems.

Dozie Igweilo studied economics at the University of Ibadan. He was also an i-fair 2023 fellow and has won a number of awards for his innovations

Materials Engineer
Tolulope has been an active player in the engineering and technology space for almost a decade, her experience span across material science, aerospace and engineering design.

She had her first degree in metallurgical and materials engineering and a masters in Advanced materials engineering from University of Manchester.
She currently works for an engineering design and consultancy firm in London. As an engineer and researcher, she has released co-authored 3 academic papers and have been cited by other researchers from different parts of the world.
